Bright Lights Cosmos Seeds produce vibrant, long-blooming flowers that thrive where many plants struggle. Originating from Mexico, this adaptable heirloom cosmos variety tolerates heat, drought, and poor soil, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens, wildflower plantings, and sunny borders.
Plants produce abundant semi-double blooms measuring 2–3 inches across in bold shades of red, orange, and yellow. The airy foliage and long stems make Bright Lights cosmos especially attractive in cut flower arrangements, while their nectar-rich flowers draw butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout the growing season.
Heat- and Drought-Tolerant Mexican Heirloom:
- Well adapted to hot, dry climates and poor soils
- Easy to grow with minimal care
- Ideal for beginner gardeners and naturalized spaces
Bold, Long-Lasting Blooms:
- Semi-double flowers in fiery red, orange, and yellow
- Blooms measure 2–3 inches across
- Excellent vase life as a cut flower
Why Gardeners Love Bright Lights Cosmos:
- Reliable blooms all season long
- Thrives with little water or fertilizer
- Attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds
- Perfect for wildflower gardens and pollinator habitats
How to Grow Bright Lights Cosmos:
Direct sow seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, or start indoors for earlier blooms. Plant in full sun for best flower production. Cosmos prefer well-drained soil and perform best when not overwatered or overfertilized. Deadheading spent blooms can encourage continued flowering.
